Global Precision Industries adds Mori Seiki SH-8000
This summer, GPI has added another machine to its new facility at 955 Millstead Way. This Mori Seiki SH-8000 will now allow GPI to machine much larger components up to 2 tons in weight and span about 51” x 47” x 43”.
GPI purchases not one, but two Mori Seiki SH-630’s
Right before Christmas, GPI took ownership of two, Mori Seiki SH-630’s, increasing their large machining department by 50%. Both 630’s have dual pallet systems and CAT 50 tooling, allowing for a much quicker and efficient production; while machining a larger sized envelope of components.
GPI purchases the Mori Seiki NL-2500 SY
GPI’s turning department is now up to 9 machines, their latest addition is a Mori Seiki NL-2500 SY. This Mori Seiki lathe is outfitted with a bar feeder and live tooling, making it easier to finish components complete in one operation.
